X also known as Y comes from an affluent family in Kolkata and his father is the chief of police. He is a pyro-kinetic and also a vegan. He is one of the very few mutants to retain powers after the events of the ‘M-Day’. When his journalist brother Sanjit disappeared, X decided to investigate, against his parents' wishes. X was shadowed by his father's best detective Karima Shapandar, and when Karima had to save him from a group of thugs, the two fell in love and began a romantic relationship, looking together for X's missing brother.

An Indian  pyrokinetic, he has no connection to the previous __________, called Y. He is a vegan and was originally intended to be called Agni, after the Hindu  god of fire.
