Quizzically Yours

X is a hardworking Parsi, bank clerk, who tries his best to make ends meet. His son Sohrab gains admission into the IITs but refuses to join them. This refusal shakes the family up. X has other distractions in his life - his daughter falls ill, his interactions with eccentric neighbours, his close friend Dinshaw,etc. X receives a letter ffrom one of his old friends , Major Bilimoria and is slowly drawn into deceiving the government involving large sums of money. X is haunted by the turmoil in the country under Indira Gandhi and unwittingly gets involved in the plot which has political ramifications.
