    After independence, the Tamilnadu state legislative assembly which was in Fort st. George was shifted to X. After some years it was again shifted back to fort st George.

    what is x and why did this happen?

      No idea wat is X but it moved to some other place for sometime due to lack of seating but moved back after state formations and the seats reducing or so i think

      I think it moved to Ooty.

      @ ded : hmm...sort of...
      the exact funda :
      The strength of the assembly was 375 but the capacity was only 260. It was therefore shifted to Kalivanar Arangam. After some years when Andhra was formed the strength was reduced and it was again shifted back to the fort.
